70s Doctor Who had *excellent* alien jungle sets. One of the better aspects of "Planet of Evil".

Way better than Star Trek TOS "Planet Hell". And better than using locations, which don't look alien enough. Great stuff!

Alien jungle set from Doctor Who "Planet of Evil" (1975). Most of the "plants" have a dark reddish color, suggesting the dominant photosynthetic dye is red on this planet. A lot of vines and logs, some like large bamboo.
