@shawnhymel One to add to your resources list maybe - "Designing Electronics That Work: Real-World Hardware Development" by Hunter Scott.
Large focus on the non-implementation elements of embedded/electronics and definitely more electronics rather than embedded, but some really good knowledge for an embedded person to appreciate what electronics colleagues might be going through! :)
