@ozoned Hey, I’m glad you found this - and sorry I left you off the original list of tags. It wasn’t intentional.
Many of th ActivityPub specs are intentionally vague. There’s power in that, too, but it’s a design decision that has made interop… frustrating.
A lot of the recent additions, and all of the proposals I’m writing, are taking this other approach of spelling things out in very clear terms. Hopefully it helps implementors 🤓
@benpate@mastodon.social lol dude, I'm not bothered at all by it. 😁 I figured those folks actively contributed to the spec. I take no offense at all. I'm just happy I get to be a fly in the room man. 😊
Tagging those who contributed to the `Endorse` activity design. Here's an update

There's more work to do, but it's enough that your input is super valuable. Another round and I'll post to codeberg.
Feel free to share with anyone with informed opinions, and no worries if you're busy/sick/uninterested/whatever - absolutely no obligation to join in 🤓

@benpate@mastodon.social reading these FEPs and seeing definition of terms always reminds me of reading laws and how things have to be clearly defined. Because communication is so inefficient, especially in text, interpretation is so easy to get incorrect compared to original intent. But it makes new appreciate all the work even more. I absolutely love this idea and greatly appreciate all the work you and others do. Thank you.

@hamishtpb@mewblog.thepolarbear.co.uk I resemble that remark! Identically actually.
Goat morning
@sundogplanets@mastodon.social tell the kids baaaaa. They'll understand.
Colored pencil sketch playing with color on toned paper! This medium requires a lot of patience and tons of layers of colors. Was a challenge to make the colors pop with the toned grey paper, I was going for a luminous look!
@joyousjoyness@mastodon.social that is absolutely gorgeous. How long does something like that take start to finish? I can't even draw stick figures.
If anyone has questions for my panel of guests, see 2026.fossy.ca/schedule/prese... , let me know.
I would request it's on the standard FsFd quiz form of nonsense.
Example:
Red, Green, Blue.
Pancakes, pans, or cakes.
Starting to get really excited for #FOSSY ! 10 days until we get to Vancouver. Idk if I'll be able to show off a slide deck while doing the panel, but I'm so excited that I created one just in case.
Only hope folks find it as fun and silly as I intend. 😄
That's my goal though. There's so much going on in the world we have to remember to step back, be silly, laugh, enjoy time with people, forget about all of the difficulties of the world. Let's just come together and have fun.
Ludicrous speed GOOOOOOOO!
IDK, something with logal and maybe others?

@ozoned sweet have a blast
@phillycodehound@indieweb.social you going to be joining us?
@phillycodehound@indieweb.social YES! I will be in Vancouver on the 5th - 10th. So I'll be at #FOSSY for the entire thing and I'll be leading a panel on Saturday at 1730 PDT for the #FediCon track with Ben Pate, Daniel Supernault, Django Doucet, Matt Baer and Vagrant Cascadian. This won't be a normal technical dev panel, but a Fireside Fedi special!
@rosie_108@toot.wales @ChrisWere@toot.wales lol that's great. Love it. Thank you! 😁
@ChrisWere@toot.wales thank you for having me. Definitely an experience of a lifetime. Really enjoyed talking with y'all.
Good news everyone! I'm now part of the @Mastodon engineering team. I'm looking forward to see how many things I can brea... I mean fix, definitely fix. In any case I'm happy to work in a project that is focused on building better communities online.
See you on the news.
I'm taking a break to focus on my FediCon talk, and a few other things.
I'll be back next month, with presents 😎
@dansup@mastodon.social can't wait to see you there! Really looking forward to your vision. <3
Gen Z's hangups about sex
@TCMuffin@toot.wales my doctor was incredible. I'm some pain, it'll pick up 24-48 hours after, but honestly shocked the pain isn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting. Definitely tired, but have to get my boys to bed.
And yes. Looking forward to being pain free and back to working out, focusing on the important things.
Thank you Jayne. <3
