Also when you don't he'll comfortably say he wasn't impeached because there's nothing to impeach. Otherwise they would impeach him. So that will be his argument/proof
I suggestion is that they take one easily demonstrated case of him taking a bribe. Treason and bribery are the two explicit causes of impeachment listed in the Constitution. There are hundreds to choose from, but only take one, show the proof, make it clear and plain. Force a vote and when you lose, take one more instance of bribery and do it again.
There are plenty, you can absolutely do this for three years solid with no problem.

Some of the most inspirational political rhetoric I’ve ever heard was spoken during Trump’s second impeachment trial, particularly by then-Rep Schiff.
I know (KNOW!) an impeachment trial now would be the exact kick in the pants 70% of Americans need after 11 years of shit & terror from Fucko. Even though ultimately futile, it would motivate, energize, and likely keep some Dems in office.
