#AliyaRahman emphasized that, her #disability notwithstanding, this would not have been an easy moment to navigate for anyone. “I think it’s also important to point out that even someone who is not #autistic would have trouble handling that situation. It was chaotic & overwhelming. There was a lot going on & it was happening fast.”
The incident occurred just blocks away from where, a week earlier, an #ICE agent shot & killed #ReneeGood. “I constantly wondered if I was going to die,” Rahman said.
