Moderator inadvertently manifested nenshi as premier next year when she asked mcpherson "how would you negotiate between nenshi and eby, those 2 premiers" and IM MANIFESTING IT TOO
Maybe an unpopular opinion but: the Alberta NDP winning the provincial election in Alberta next year is actually way more important than this leadership race. Unlike the federal NDP, they actually have a chance at forming government.
This is especially with the Alberta fall referendum announced today which is just a huge disgusting targeting of immigrants in Alberta. Alberta right now is a lab for importing MAGA ideas, from targeting immigrants to targeting trans people to breaking organized labour, all through anti-democratic mechanisms. If these policies are enacted in Alberta they become acceptable and normalized things for governments to do in Canada. And that puts us on a very, very bad path.
Lewis had a good answer when asked about Nenshi that mentioned all of the things above w/ regards to what's happening in Alberta.
Although I'm not sure I heard Nenshi saying "who cares, we are united" the way Lewis is characterizing it...the last thing I heard Nenshi say is this

desperately working the CPAC video player controls so I can hear what the Qu茅bec NDP member (and former candidate) Malcolm Lewis-Richmond is actually saying
@avilewis is the only one that credibly seems like he can rebuild the party in Qu茅bec
