Part way through now and I see the genius, but it still just isn't hitting the right spot. I want to love it. I think because I've seen other Mel Brooks movies first the jokes I already know.

Kikis Delivery Service is a lovely wholesome movie. I think I lines Howl's Moving Castle art and animation more, but Kiki is so cute and wonderfully wholesome. Highly recommend.

I've also seen Totoro and that's just magical.

Maybe I'll watch Ponyo or Nausica next. Any suggestions?
