@simon_brooke Absolutely disagree. General intelligence, artificial or not, has nothing to do with ontology or inference & there's no reason to think those things can lead to it. Actual intelligence is not a data or engineering project & can only, at best, be simulated to a limited degree by those means.
Intelligence is an Outside Context Problem to engineering & if it's possible to create artificially - which is currently a big if - it will only happen after accepting this.
@jwcph On Computable Numbers says you're wrong, and I'm more confident of the correctness of that proof than of anything else I've ever learned.

Please help. Android on Samsung good or bad? Accessible or not? I cannot stress this enough but iOS is going to give me an early death. Is android on the pixel more accessible or does Samsung’s non vanilla stuff keep accessibility the same?
Samsung because I might legitimately consider a fold for work, but only because it saves me money on the iPad I needed to buy.
I have missed 3 extremely important emails on iPhone, and I was checking every hour. Voiceover may well be to blame. I’m done.

I know, you're just trying to protect them. As you should! But if we accustom children to constantly being monitored, they won't protest surveillance once they become adults.
So please, teach them to use technology responsibly, even when Big Parent isn't watching!
