Using public transport for me means you are part of a collective of people that share their mode of transport. For me that means all people on board the vehicle have a shared responsibility that we make it to the location we want to be in good order.
Asking someone to turn the noise down. Giving a tissue to someone who ate an oliebol with powdered sugar and has dirty hands. Sharing a sip of water with someone who was suffering from the heat. Asking for help when someone is not doing well. Welcoming someone back in the train who said he didn't take the train for 10 years and was wondering if he took the right one.
These are all things I have done in public transport this year and to make it a welcoming place for everyone. Together we can make public transport happy transport 😊

How can they redact Trump's name from The Epstein Files, when everyone knows the name they could be redacting?
Their software only places a black box on top of an unaltered text, and the name Donald Trump has a very specific length in each font. It is not just 12 letters long — it has a length which is a result of the letters D o n a l d T r u m p.
So if they are placing a black box of this length over the text again and again, how is that supposed to protect him?
@randahl It's amazing how many people are willing to watch their careers go down the toilet for Donald Trump, a convicted felon who breaks the law every day. A man who does nothing but whine about how badly others treat him while he treats everyone like utter crap. A man who can't blend his bright orange make-up properly.

CECOT has a max capacity of 40,000.
There are over 50,000 Black men in solitary confinement in the US today.
Black men are most likely to be falsely arrested and charged while 100% innocent. You can be in jail for over a year before your trial. During that time you can be forced to do slave labor.
If you refuse to do the slave labor while in jail for a year before your trial you can be put into solitary confinement as a punishment.
During this solitary confinement for refusing to do slave labor while innocent, you can lose visitation rights, and lose your right to access your attorney.
The Trump admin says that people can avoid CECOT by voluntarily giving up their rights to be in the US and self-deporting, even when there's no legal basis for deporting them.
All US admins say that innocent Black men can avoid the harms of prison and jail by "confessing" to crimes they didn't do.
This thread is not to minimize the horrors of CECOT.
This thread is to say that I wish more people knew about and cared about how many innocent Black people have had their lives destroyed by the exact same horrors.
This tears Black families apart.
As I've said before, racism is just fascism practiced on Black people first.🤷🏿♂️

@afewbugs although not as funny as the other replies, when we close an IT service desk ticket at work, the ‘customer’ gets a survey question, 2 buttons, are you happy or sad with the outcome, both buttons go to the same survey 🙄 which consists of a few questions, one of which is would you recommend our IT department to others, and another is would you use again… just crazy, the users, sorry, customers have zero choice of course and it’s even funnier when as an IT department employee you log a ticket for yourself and get the same survey 😂

Speziell, wenn es um Newsletter geht, raten alle Ratgeber, die ich finden kann, davon ab, Mails selbst zu versenden, weil man Mühe haben dürfte, eine ausreichende Reputation aufzubauen.
Die meisten empfehlen einen Dienstleister zu nutzen. Und das geht dann (a) ins Geld, (b) sind viele Dienste U.S.-Unternehmen oder nutzen U.S. Hyperscaler, und (c) Kontrolle hat man über nichts mehr.
@marian Ich bin gerade dabei, meine Mails auf Selfhosting umzustellen. "Saubere" IP über einen VPS und vernünftige DKIM/DMARC-Einstellungen scheinen schon mal zu helfen.
Google und Microsoft nehmen meine Mails an.
War aber auch ein bisschen Arbeit und "nur" für private Nutzung.

@killyourfm maybe sping 2026? If they can get their hands on rams chips and ssd for it, so far all I hear it's shipping dev kits out to the devs so we may have a lot steam frame VR games day one working when it's out of the box.
