Co kdybych se na to podíval tak, že ano, zde například moje milovaná Evropská komise, dělá nebo nedělá něco a to mě vytáčí, připadá nepochopitelné, pobuřuje, cokoliv. Přímo to křičí vnitřním rozporem. A že to přece je "normální", že moje milovaná vyvádí takové věci. A že to není žádná katastrofa, ani to nemusí být podnět ke stížnosti nebo snaze to nějak změnit.

Já přece taky umím konat nebo nekonat v rozporu se svými vznešenými ideály.

I could, I guess, finally learn how to use podman and docker properly, to use the HomeAssistant docker image, but I am not keen.

I could also see how readily I could obtain ssh access, and a root OS account, for the HA "full" OS. But is that prone to breaking? Tricky.

@neil oh by the way HA-in-Docker is also limited in the same way Core and Supervised were (ie no add-ons) so they’re probably going to kill that off too.

@zoul yes we definitely are in an informational war;. Large part of that war is what Russia or the US is doing to us and part is what we are doing to ourselves. There is a difference between misinformation and information that doesn't support "our", "good" narratives. Just like I've seen that YT channel claim some things that are against my own personal experience and knowledge, I've seen outlets like BBC do exactly the same, but somehow despite all of this it is supposedly credible.

@zoul if I only listened and believed the supposedly "credible" media like BBC, DW, or FSM-forbid Slovak or Czech media, I'd be very seriously misinformed (for example about migrants, trans people, climate change, Palestine, the war in Ukraine, our "great" response to the stupid orange-man's tariff war, GDPR, chat control, etc.), just like if I only listened to and blindly trusted random one-person media on the internet. This is why I look at many sources and try to think about it myself.

@bekopharm I assume you're sending mainly numerical data? Could be more efficient to send it as raw data rather than string characters. I.E., the way midi does it LOL. MSB is the control code and LSB is the data value. In your case, I imagine you might need slightly larger data values, but the theory of operation is the same.

@TheMNWolf I wondered that too but whenever I packed the data I got nothing sent at all. Pretty sure it does this on it's own in the end.
