Taishakuten standing statue, Takiyama-ji, #Japan. A Tendai sect temple in Aichi Prefecture. In 1201, Sozu Nukata built and enshrined the Sojizen-in within Takiyama-ji to mourn the memory of his cousin, Minamoto no Yoritomo. The #Buddhist sculptors are Unkei and Tankei. This temple was patronized by Takauji Ashikaga during the Nanbokucho period, and was patronized by Ieyasu Tokugawa in the early modern period.
