After playing around with @postmarketOS at #fosdem this weekend, I canceled my preorder of another phone and am going full on with PMOS. The gorgeous phosh-UI combined with fully OSS makes a strong case for this ecosystem.

I had the original #FuriLabs FLX1 and liked it because it did what it said on the box and didn’t 'onboard' me with four cloud services and make me sign a wavier on first boot.
The #FLX1s feels like that phone, but with a better design. I’ll own it: I'm the guy who thinks thinner phones look cooler... In any case, I upgraded. It’s slimmer, has more RAM, and it lasts longer than my fold 7 so its better than good enough.

I just completed my first mainline driver!
My goal was to enable night light on OnePlus 6 using #phosh on #postmarketos.
It was a missing DRM GAMMA_LUT support in the Qualcomm Display Engine (DPU) driver.
I used the downstream kernel as a reference and found the LUT format by trial and error on the phone.
It was a difficult but very rewarding experience.
