These two deer were out enjoying the lack of people and dogs on a relatively popular local trail due to the rain and heavy fog, as was I. I was being rather loud, and i think I disturbed them. I think the one on the left was a bit offended by my commentary on her scratching herself. At the end when the one on the right was cautiously approaching me, I stopped the recording while I was saying "I probably should get out of your living room and let you be." I had never had wild deer approach me like that, so I was a bit nervous that I could be misreading the deer's body language and was in fact about to be the first person to be mauled to death by a deer. She probably had correctly read me as non-threatening and was just curious about me, but even in that case I wouldn't want her to get used to humans being nice, especially since we do have hunters around here.
