As if on cue just ahead of Superb Owl Sunday, a great horned owl hooted nearby just after sundown at the end of yesterday's hike in Wildcat Canyon Regional Park near Richmond, California. Took me a few minutes to find it in the trees. Quite a specimen! #SuperbOwl #birds #NaturePhotography #California 🐦
