Black and white photo showing two people walking away from the camera down an old track towards a promenade by the edge of the sea. The tide is out, the sea is fairly calm, there may be some bathers in the distance. The clouds above are mostly high and bright; there is still enough sun for shadows from the walkers (son and Mrs R). There are white streaks on the road in the foreground; some of these are repairs to cracks in the tarmac surface, some are damage to the film from an initial mis-load onto the spool! Had to put the tank into the dark bag, pull the film back out and feed it back in again. Happily most of the frames were fine.
