#TfL has disclosed spending on its account on X, formerly #Twitter, following a Freedom of Information request. TfL confirmed it holds the requested information.

The applicant asked how much money, excluding labour costs, TfL spent on maintaining its X account in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 #financial years. TfL said it spent £201.60 in each year on a Premium Plus subscription.

The organisation confirmed it did not run any paid advertising on X in either year and incurred no additional costs for managing the channel. It added that X is one of several social media platforms used by its team to engage with customers and promote its work.
