useR! 2026 Conference
useR! 2026 Conference
@useR_conf@mastodon.social  ·  activity timestamp last week

In this keynote, Peter Dalgaard will take us back to R’s origins in the 1990s and trace how its development principles took shape alongside the PC, Internet, and Open-Source revolutions. From there, he’ll unpack how R Core approaches release management, and how governance is shared across the broader ecosystem, including the CRAN team, the R Foundation, and the R Consortium.
