A summer shot from 2009. I'd pitched a little tent atop the Simonside Ridge in the hope of getting some shots of a lovely misty dawn across the Northumberland Plain, with the sun rising over the mist and melting it away. It didn't happen, instead a feral Goat showed up, maybe a Cheviot one but according to an expert likely a Galloway one that's escaped from a nearby farm. My sweet little Prissy! She makes me laugh so often. Right now we are working to keep her and all of her barn mates warm at night. Heat lamps...blankets...and locking it down tight...brrr
