@LeftistLawyer Minnesota has a version of the Castle Doctrine, meaning you generally have no duty to retreat from your home (or sometimes an occupied vehicle) when facing an unlawful intruder and can use reasonable, even deadly, force to defend yourself or others from imminent great bodily harm or to prevent a forcible felony, with a presumption of reasonable fear if someone unlawfully enters your dwelling.

Why aren't people protecting themselves from ICE terrorists?

Understanding Minnesota’s “Duty to Retreat” Law

Understanding Minnesota’s “Duty to Retreat” law is essential—not just to avoid legal pitfalls but also to promote safer communities. While the law requires you to retreat when possible, it also recognizes that there are times when fighting back is your only option.

@PattyHanson This treads too close to me giving "legal advice." Suffice to say, I personally am an #ArmedLeftist.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed human rules.
