"Former FirstEnergy CEO Chuck Jones & former senior vice president Michael Dowling are accused of paying Randazzo a $4.3 million bribe before his appointment to lead PUCO.
The messages, often between Jones and Dowling, were exchanged in 2018 and 2019. They showed an open line of communication with Gov. Mike DeWine, former Speaker Larry Householder & former Lt. Gov. Jon Husted.
