It’s International Zebra Day! Zebras are such an obvious temptation to the printmaker, considering how to depict life in black and white. They are inherently so graphic in their very skin. Though they aren’t striped any which way. This hand-pulled linoleum block print juxtaposes two varieties of zebra, Grévy’s (left) and Burchell’s, back to back.
