High functional responses predispose fish species to invasiveness, but these trophic advantages do not necessarily persist outside their native range. Congratulation to Marine and Chloé for this nice paper!

This visual abstract of the paper shows two plots. The plot on the left illustrates that invasive species display a higher functional response. The right-hand plot illustrates that this difference only applies when the invasive species have been sampled in their native habitat.
