@ascentale @ai6yr @bikenite A5: Revisiting this item to tack on … I carry a small button light by Coleman when bike packing. It's an LED, rechargeable, with a carabiner-styke clip on the back, handy for clipping to a loop at the top of a tent, or to cablework on a bike. Super helpful when you need hands-free illumination to, say, pitch a tent after arriving in the dark, when the beam from a riding light is too narrow.

@ascentale @ai6yr @bikenite I would add to these, a few pairs of disposable gloves & some wipes in case you have to do a bit of unplanned maintenance/repair & a separate container of some kind for essential tools & spares.
