Update! I just discovered that you can actually do custom trim sizes with BookVault, which means I might be one step closer to being completely Amazon-free with my books now since this would save me having to redo the typesetting and covers for all the paperback books ($$$).
I already pulled the e-books from Kindle, but I've been trying to find a way to pull the paperbacks from Amazon and still have wide distribution (critical for selling to libraries and through other bookstores like Indigo, B&N and Waterstones), without having to price them ridiculously higher than anything else in their genre (which is one of the major issues with moving to D2D or Ingram printing).
De-Amazoning is a massive undertaking. But I'm working on it.
And the really exciting thing about BookVault is that they integrate with Payhip so I should be able to offer paperbacks (and maybe boxsets, eventually!) and even do bulk order pricing via my own author site if I can figure out how to do all this! 馃槉
