OK, the OpenBSD install is in progress, after I managed to turn off SecureBoot.
As for setting up a WiFi interface, we're saving that for later.
The OpenBSD installer is sure taking its sweet time.
But then it's exorcising the demons of Win10 Pro from the hard drive. During a final check, I got at least 5 different advertisements pushed on me by the OS, in under 10 minutes.
How do people live like this?

Started a new install attempt.
Had to re-image the thumb drive. On the first attempt, I somehow managed to install OpenBSD on the installation medium, rather than on the target machine's hard drive. That's a first.

@slothrop it probably needs to sterilize the flash.
