Hey fediverse #nonprofit people,
I've got a project (missionlibre.org), which is meant to bring kids aged 11-14 into #freesoftware. No part of it has been easy -- not practically, not personally.
I think Mission:Libre is wonderful, but I'm struggling: it's an odd little project in a complicated situation and I'm trying to find a way forward. I could really use an ear and some practical advice from someone with experience. Are you able to help me?
I'll be happy to talk. I work with a program called Gaming Against Violence ( @gamingagainstv ). It produces and publishes intentionally designed prosocial video games for teens. It is a program from Jennifer Ann's Group ( @stopTDV ) , a NGO focused on teen dating violence prevention.
I haven't found many #nonprofit folks on here! Feel free to DM me or share here.
