All of those are correct. They're FREE as in cost and FREE as in freedom to use. You can take the software and read it's code and change it for whatever you need.
Same with Owncast, Mastodon, Peertube, Linux, etc.

@JenJen i haven’t seen one of those since a student worker in our office used it to port linux to the m68k series! He got it from a Vietnam vet who used it to make POW/MIA artwork … the chassis had so many resin stains we joked that when the kernel panicked it was jonesing for a hit.
