Project "tidy up the effin' Lego or move out" continues apace ....

The household stash of Lego bricks, this about 1/3 by mass/volume but maybe 75% of the pieces(?) because all the damn Disney and Elves Lego sets are full of tiny little foofery bits that are 1-stud bits with flowers or bows or hair accessories for the damn minifigs.

An 8-drawer plastic storage tower with clear drawer-bins, beginning to fill up with a somewhat orderly sortation of Lego pieces and kits.

I think we have about 20k lego pieces? except that 37,000 of them are little single-stud bits with some sort of fancy doo-dah molded onto them that came with a Disney princess or Elves or Hogwarts themed build.

WTF ever happened to red, blue, green and yellow bricks? These aren't just choking hazards, you could snort them up a nostril into a sinus and they'd be GONE.

Aaaannnd... the magpie cat has just snagged something he is chasing all over the living room hardwood and is probably going to hide in some corner he'll entirely have forgotten about by morning.
