I will get on a boat and sail away forever.
Normally this would just be a thing that a person says, but I'm a good sailor, know my boats, have been on long journeys before and plan on doing this anyway at some point.
The only downside is how I wanted to use all of the nice weather data to avoid the storms but there are other ways. I would need to be more cautious in my crossings and read the almanacs, learn the signs of a bad sea.
And if I drown I drown. Goodbye.

I'm reminded of someone who mentioned in some place or another not long back that it's suspicious how all the little islands in the pacific have had people on them - asking why would people just set out into the sea without knowledge of a safe destination?

It comes in XS but I will still need to get the pants shortened a bit for a perfect fit.
I have most of what I need, except for a full "north sea" jumper and pants. But I think I know where I can get one if we go in cold water.

Listen, Jer. When it comes to the sea you do not mess around. You want "gear" and the best you can find because that water is trying to kill you.
