Our city/town just celebrated its 700th birthday!

So yeah.. the US is barly peeking around the corner
@stux the city where I live (Zaragoza, Spain) has more than 2000 years 😅, founded around the 14 BC by Augustus. Although there was a village there before.
@stux just turn out high chair towards the celebration, make sure we get 3pm nap (EST or you are savages) and put us to bed before 6pm and enjoy your geezer party!
@stux The US has some very old places, like the mounds in Cahokia, Illinois, but the people who immigrated here from Europe have forgotten or destroyed many because they collectively decided that the indigenous culture wasn't as important as theirs.
