2/ Well crap. I did not know this, via WaPo: “In a life as unsettled as it was unsettling, Ms. Bardot turned politically to the far right and became an incendiary commenter on Muslims, immigrants and gays.”
@gottalaff.bsky.social . She was really pretty, but also a nasty piece of work, extremely racist and homophobic. Even married someone from the extreme right wing Front National. Had several convictions but never did a day in prison. For us Europeans this was all well known
