@repeatro I get the impression that Tales of Symphonia was the most well liked of the entire series.
For some weird reason it didn't pull me in. I guess I need to try again. (Not calling it bad, just somehow didn't vibe with me the way Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Graces f did.)
I never played any title of the series. What's so special about them?
@repeatro Mostly story and worlds. Each game in the Tales of series goes fairly far into world development with each generally having some sort of gimmick or something and they usually do quite good character development. That said, there are absolutely some weaker ones in the series (and one I can't even remember the name of that was kind of not that terribly long ago that was so weak that, well, I can't even remember the name of it...) They're also usually fairly large in scale.
Come on, bro, this post undersells it so hard. Tales of Symphonia on the cube is one of the best RPGs! Action combat! It's multiplayer! You can main any of the characters! I hate gels!
Are there any Tales titles that aren't considered great RPG's? 馃槈
I never played a title of the series but I know there is a huge fan base. Seems like I should give this one a try if I ever want to .
@repeatro Funny enough, ToS2 is the only one I've heard major complaints about.
