The Hampton Inn Lakeville Minneapolis has been kicked out of the Hilton chain after a conservative commentator visited the hotel this morning and attempted to book accommodations posing as a DHS representative — a day after the property refused accommodations for federal immigration agents.

The independent hotel owner had assured us that they had fixed this problem and published a message confirming this. A recent video clearly raises concerns that they are not meeting our standards and values. As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this hotel from our systems. Hilton is - and has always been - a welcoming place for all. We are also engaging with all of our franchisees to reinforce the standards we hold them to across our system to help ensure this does not happen again.

@newsguyusa This annoyed me enough to cancel my #Hilton loyalty account this morning. Don't expect it to change Hilton but I don't have to fund businesses that have chosen the wrong side.
Boycott Hilton AND let them know the reason why we are no longer booking any stay on their fascist-friendly, gestapo collaborator network.
