A press conference is currently under in Portland.
I'm on the move rn so I'll try and live toot it as I have a quite moment.
146 and Burnside is where the shooting took place.
Cops are still currently on the scene (as of ~20min ago). Limited community mobilization thus at the scene.
Meanwhile protests have already begun at city hall to encourage Portland's mayor to take a hard stance against ICE/CBP activity in the city of Portland.
Both of the people short are still alive.
A man and woman seem to have been injured.
The Portland City Council is holding an emergency session to brief the public on this incident.
They are shelving the originally scheduled city council board president elections.
Council members are visibly upset, one representative Loretta Smith sounds near tears.
There are two scenes, one were the two people were shot and a short drive away is where they were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
City council members have ended their meeting early.
Loretta Smith the council member whose district the shooting place in gave a brief statement and saying that she doesn't know new information yet but that this is likely a case of racial profiling which she says is a huge problem of these operations.
