We escaped with some relatively light rain and some moderate winds but we've had worse without any warnings of the end of the world 😁.
The only inconvenience was a road flooded in one lane, right where a traffic island was, so not easily avoided. I might have hit it a bit fast the first time through it, was a lot slower the second time.

All good here, we barely causght the edge of it, seen much more snow & far higher winds.
There’s a few centimetres of snow but nothing to write home about!

@NormanDunbar @MAJ1 morning, both. We are just in the snow section, roads difficult here, but clear a few miles to north or east. My school bus still ran, the main problem was driving my car out of the drive and along our cul-de-sac. But the majority of buses in Mansfield didn't leave depot this morning.
Morning to you both. I hope you both survived the storm last night. The last of our snow is finally gone. Just some ice to deal with and the cold now.

@NormanDunbar we are heading for a dangerous bushfire day tommorrow with high temperatures and strong winds. We have a total fire ban from midnight tonight for 24 hours.
