The right question is not, “Why is ICE attacking left leaning cities, killing people, and targeting minorities?”
The right question is, “What happens after they are done with the minorities?”

@randahl They publicly stated they would deport 100 million people. There aren’t 100 million undocumented immigrants here. This would mean deportation of American citizens.
@randahl We ran a test in Europe. After 5 years, they still weren't done with the first group of minorities. ICE will be fine for a while. Most likely that the dictator is removed before that. #experience
"an official DHS account on X, depicted a stylized image...with the caption: "The peace of a nation no longer besieged by the third world." The graphic was paired with language referring to "100 million deportations,"
100 million should give you a clue to "what happens after"....that number only makes sense if it includes ALL the non-white population in the US.
This is their genocidal fever dream. And they will try to realize it, because that is how genocidal racists roll.
@randahl only if you expect the minorities to be exterminated before the slaughter is stopped.
@randahl they’ll probably turn to anyone who dares to oppose the regime on any channel of communication!
possibly they're both the right question but i suspect when i read the comments plenty of others will have already suggested this...
@randahl One is never done with minorities. One simply draws a new line below 50% and iterates again.
@randahl U.S.A. is where Evil reigns and Good dies. RIP
@randahl
"Then they came for the journalists, and I wrote a NYT opinion piece titled First They Came For The Journalists."
- David Brooks
@randahl You have made an excellent point here as they are using this lame excuse to build a stormtrooper army which they will then unleash on any and all that they see as opposing their rule
@randahl Sounds like the words of the German pastor Martin Niemöller are echoing throughout time.
@randahl as a white dude I expect there to a be significant number of other white people hoping their Whiteness will protect them from Nazi thugs....like it protects them from CSAM on twitter I guess?
@randahl
Right on! Where does it end. Hate has no cure. Even if you get rid of something, you still hate it. Why take it away from the ones that
like it ? BTW, I am an American because my grand parents were immigrants ( just like Trump)
@randahl Actually, the first question *is* the right question; unless all you want to do is to repeat the same mistakes as Pastor Niemöller, and wonder to yourself how all this could possibly have happened.
@randahl there are always more minorities
@randahl Nothing to worry. They always need someone to hate in order for the system to work so they just focus on the next target. It can be everything: women, catholics, old people, disabled, white men who are not right-leaning enough, men with no gun, white folks with money but not enough money, educated people, university students... the possibilities are endless.
@randahl Or how about, “I’ve noticed the rule of law is trampled and the federal gov’t is killing people by policy as well as bodily, so what’s next in how we stop them from doing that?”
@randahl
It's the creation of a far-reaching police state.
In such a system, the relationship between every citizen and their government is transformed by the constant demand for submission. Since Good’s death, Republicans have been lining up to threaten those who don’t immediately comply with ICE’s orders. “The bottom line is this: When a federal officer gives you instructions, you abide by them and then you get to keep your life,”

The **next** question is, "Who will they target after they are done practicing on minorities?"
@randahl We read history, so we know.
@randahl Your "right question" is two days too late - we got that answer in Minneapolis on Wed.
@randahl After POC, lgbtqia+, leftists, unions, Democrats
