"The case [c]ould be removed to federal court, but that just means the ICE agent would be prosecuted in front of a federal judge. State prosecutors would still handle the prosecution.
If the Feds want to file federal charges of their own, that would be a different thing, but I don't think they will."

"Minnesota investigators don’t even need the cooperation of feds to get to where they can file charges. They have the videos and witness statements, they’ll soon have cause of death from the medical examiner. All they need is the ID of the shooter which they can hopefully get from a civilian source."

"Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable."
