"Please understand what it means when journalists are evacuating their family members out of town.
In any other country, we would be approaching 'foreign sanctions' territory."

"The case [c]ould be removed to federal court, but that just means the ICE agent would be prosecuted in front of a federal judge. State prosecutors would still handle the prosecution.
If the Feds want to file federal charges of their own, that would be a different thing, but I don't think they will."

"Minnesota investigators don’t even need the cooperation of feds to get to where they can file charges. They have the videos and witness statements, they’ll soon have cause of death from the medical examiner. All they need is the ID of the shooter which they can hopefully get from a civilian source."

"It should be bigger news that masked agents were filmed hours ago removing potentially inculpatory evidence from the ICE shooter's house, clearly lacking evidence tags or chain of custody stickers."
Before we have word on whether he underwent a toxicology screen at the hospital following the killing."

"When juries started refusing to indict or convict activists on bogus charges, DHS shifted very quickly to shooting activists in the face. That is not a coincidence."

"Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable."

"There are at least 100 Minneapolis residents for every federal agent in the city right now. Political leadership needs to organize them before it's too late.
When I say 'before it's too late,' I mean they will eventually move to arrest Democratic leaders.
Stop telling people to remain calm and peaceful and give them a useful mission."
