I wanted The GIMP on my new laptop so tried to use the flatpak manager "Bazaar" that comes with Aurora Linux. This program fails to launch often. It's frequent failures have forced me to learn how to install flatpak software from the command line. Not that this is hard at all, I just didn't know. Live and learn, I guess. I can't wait for the next generation software installer. 馃檮 Since I started my Linux adventure I've used tarballs, rpm, apt, and now flatpak.
Yes, I could probably investigate why Bazaar isn't working, but now that I can install software without using it, I'm not sure why I should bother.
