The finished painting I started a little over a week ago.
I need a title for it. I think of protection in this piece, in a world that’s burning, with little refuge or safety anywhere.

The child, protected by his mother, has the expression that he's also ready to take up the fight.
I think we must all stand together. There's so much evil in this godforsaken world, that we must protect eachother. You could even think that the kid is protecting his mother by putting himself in front of her.

I had been thinking of calling it The Protector. Or maybe ‘What We Protect’.
@JoBlakely That's good, for they are both being protective. In my first suggestion the kid was the future being protected.
