I'm in the process of cleaning up my #KeePass database after introducing myself to its more modern features (passkeys support, browser integration via its extension, Android credential API (whatever it's called) support). I've got stuff in here from 2011. Fifteen years is a helluva long time for a file format and application to stay relevant in this world. Congratulations!

And many thanks to #KeePassXC, #KeePassDX, and #SyncThing for making maintenance and longevity of what amounts to "the keys to the kingdom" a relatively seamless and painless process, 15 years and counting, across numerous devices. There was a period of time where I was using the #Mono builds of the KeePass application too, so props to that project too.

@aspensmonster

The android app is really really slick, I like using it more than the desktop which is rarely the case.

Some highlights:

* Austin Community College (shortly after I dropped out of Colorado School of Mines and moved back to Texas)
* BlackBoard (the dark days before Canvas existed)
* DynDNS (they're still around, right?)
* Various GamerTags for Xbox Live
* Last.fm (I recall having them integrated into Amarok at some point)
* Several AIM accounts
* WRT54G router shenanigans (probably with DD-WRT)
* cPanel, WHM, Plesk (from my earliest tech support days)
* Pluralsight (when it was pluralsight-training.com)
* Friendster (damn)
* The Parish (an old venue off 6th street in Austin where I saw Bowling for Soup)
* ICQ (damn damn)
* bitcoin (It was 2011, y'all)
* Texas State credentials (my alma mater where I eventually got a BSEE)
* Pottermore (before JKR became a massive public transphobe)
* Various Wikileaks pieces (no further comment)

And that's just 2011.

2021:

* mastodon.technology (I Discover the Fediverse! And ActivityPub! The Internet feels fun and hopeful again!)
* Lots of job apps (I eventually leave my 5-year employer and take a short stint at another company before realizing that I wasn't just needing a change of employer but a change of career entirely)

Funny how large chunks of your life can just flash before you in a handful of kibibytes.
