My take is that after the Davos speech, the levels of mockery of Trump in Europe, including at elite political and journalistic levels, have rocketed.

Carney hit it out of the park. Lined up the chaos, walked down the potential paths, highlighted the HUGE opportunities, and dangers.

It was a flare in the battlefield, to expose positions.
