“President #Trump attempted to induce state officials to ignore true vote counts; to manufacture fraudulent slates of presidential electors in 7 states that he had lost; to force his own Vice President to act in contravention of his oath & to instead advance President Trump’s personal interests; and, on Jan6, 2021, to direct an angry mob to the United States Capitol to obstruct the congressional certification of the presidential election & then exploit the rioters’ violence to further delay it.”
On #Jan6, 2021, over 140 law enforcement officers were assaulted, #JackSmith plans to tell #Congress, “a fact we should never forget.”

Her testimony was #hearsay. Hearsay does not hold up in #court. That’s all he had to say.

Also the grandstanding performative courtroom drama behavior of the #congress members is quite heavy handed. #JackSmith who has repeatedly been described as measured & calm is coming off a little stiff especially because he keeps being interrupted. He needs to come back at them like they are hostile witnesses.
