I needed a break tonight so I finally got around to learning how the mxr layers pedal works, and had a fun time playing around once I learned how to use it.
It's a very cool one-trick pony. The way I put it to my friend: I probably wouldn't be particularly excited to see a whole show of someone playing one of these (prove me wrong), but it's really got a vibe, and gets you to play something you otherwise wouldn't.

@davbram t thanks! And true. I feel like this one would be especially mannered though.
Although I think if someone is a really great player of a certain type, they could probably pull it off. I couldn't though!
