The BBC in Scotland

I often understand the BBC in Scotland as being purely antagonistic to the SNP Holyrood government, but there are signs that other from different political persuasions (so to speak) have their concerns. Small beginnings.

Of course you will not see any of the debate reported in either the BBC news or much of the piss poor coverage in Scotland (and I include you #Herald and #Scotsman)

@Wen or if you actually want to support journalists who take a positive view of #ScottishIndependence, you can go here:

If we want media which is not biased against #Scotland, we need to support it.

@simon_brooke I think about it vaguely like this.

People need to see this.
I spend £7 (bar a penny) a month to support it
Over a year that is many £1 a month subs
I can get people to see the report
They might subscribe
They will see

@simon_brooke I do - with a full and not ‘special’ subscription. Shame who own them though. I normally post a full link, but occasionally I believe that some people need to see the reporting.

@Wen I agree, the owners are just another capitalist conglomerate. But the journalists are another matter, and we keep them in jobs by paying our subs!
