I don't care about sports or QAnon, so I barely know anything about the guy. Never heard of him before he was elected, barely hear of him now.
As for his quotes, I know the LDS church has gotten very prosperity gospel-ish, but I was raised in Utah and in the church to believe that a community supports its members. Relief Society being created to relieve needs and raise the whole group together, not just individuals.
