@jwisser we named our coopers Wilbur. He patrols our yard and sometimes comes to sit and look in my house at our budgies.

I'm not sure I want a permanently resident hawk, though. 😅
@jwisser they eat birds, but are an important part of our eco system, so we’ve grown to love them. We do everything we can to make sure we don’t have cats sneak in our yard (they are the biggest risk along with dirty feeders) - with so much habitat loss they really are another bird to watch.
@fractalkitty Oh, I love them. But if it managed to take my resident red-bellied woodpecker, I'd be beside myself.
Maybe we can write up a contract about only taking starlings, house sparrows, and pigeons… 🤔
