The United States never ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989 (they signed it in 1995 but never ratified it).
Who else never ratified it or decided NOT to be bound by it? NOBODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD!

There's been something fucking broken in that country for a LONG time and Trump et al. are only symptoms of it unfortunately.
