Also in before you "no one alive is a slave today" headasses, a few facts
1) that's patently false per the 13th amendment, not to mention the numbers outside of the us
2) slavery is far from the only aspect of the African experience in the West that requires reparations. Jim Crow. Redlining. Cultural demonization. Straight up theft. Medical racism. Genocide. Life-shortening stress. Just to name a few~
