Also tons of weird validation, like the vascular surgeon saying that what happens in the body of a POTS patient EVERY TIME WE STAND is similar to what happens in the body when someone is shot. Like. Jesus fucking Christ. Big feelings with this one.
Thinking about how they talk about lying down feeling better because the blood is able to go where it's meant to: would that mean that a lying down ultrasound wouldn't show the full extent of any vascular problems??
(AFAIK there are no HCW near me even following this research, so I can't just.. go to a doctor and leave the details to them 😑)
@3TomatoesShort I think about how when I've had pelvic ultrasounds, nobody ever said to schedule them for when I'm experiencing symptoms of endometriosis. I had a few negative ultrasounds because I went maybe halfway through my cycle. But then when I thought myself to go right before my period it was very obvious.
I shouldn't have to figure this out myself

... Oh. Jesus. (I've just had the one, and negative. I would never think to go during worst symptoms because that's when it's so hard to leave the house!)
@3TomatoesShort yeah, I think I managed right before my period started so it wasn't bad yet. But if I'd gone when I was feeling fine it would've been another negative I'm sure
